Washington DC shopping
Washington D.C. shopping is worth a vacation in itself! You could spend
days browsing the major shopping venues, or the side streets and neighborhood
shops, boutiques, and specialty stores. We highly recommend a trip to
Georgetown for al that is not the usual, and for the sheer fun of walking
these historical streets. This is the place for the goodies you just can't
find elsewhere. Next, spend a day, or three, at the fabulous Eastern Market.
This historical sight is the only continuously running open-air market
left in the city, and everyday brings new bargains, treasures, and fun.
The Union Station is as much a mall as it is a major attraction, with
its architecture, history, and great shopping. But if you prefer the mall
thing, a great place to retail the day away is the Mazza Gallerie. Do
one, or do it all, and Washington D.C. shopping will have you hooked!
